Abstract
In light of the Christian narrative, George in the case study would believe that all humanity disobeyed God when Adam and Eve gave way to the enticements of the devil. This was the original sin according to the Christian narrative. Humanity, therefore, allowed itself to be enslaved by the powers of evil, suffering and death by sinning and this is what is referred to as the fallness of the world. The Christian worldview brings about energizing motivation for ethical and godly thinking thus giving human beings hope and confidence for an eternal future with no suffering. This view is built on an all-round structure that shapes religion, social and natural sciences, healthcare, humanities, art, among other disciplines with the application for life and therefore not based on philosophical and religious truths. George and other Christians should, therefore, profess a Christian worldview for the current society with all its associated trials, sufferings and transformation. According to the Christian worldview, humans are created in the image and likeness of God and life is of incalculable value. As George contemplates life with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), he should be aware that human life is profound, precious, and priceless. According to the Christian worldview, human life bears the nature and identity of God and therefore it is not for anyone to terminate it. From this perspective, it would, therefore, be an act of going against God’s will and commandments in liberalizing the law on euthanasia. The Christian worldview, therefore, holds that governments and states should invest more in palliative care rather than legalizing euthanasia since it is focused on bringing about relief to patients suffering life-threatening sickness as its main aim is to improve not only the patient’s quality of life but also the family.

The man was the only creature that was created in God’s image and was the one that rebelled against Him as well as trying to rob his glory. The nature of sin makes people seek glory for themselves thus denying God his rightful glory. George and other Christians hold that humanity has deficits of the glory of God due to the original sin. According to the Christian perspective, sin has caused the rest of the creatures to be corrupted and tainted. Humanity has therefore allowed itself to be enslaved by the powers of evil, suffering and death by sinning and this is what is referred to as the fallness of the world. The Christian worldview brings about energizing motivation for ethical and godly thinking thus giving human beings hope and confidence for an eternal future with no suffering.
The consequences of the fallness of the world were immediate and catastrophic. The first consequence was the ejection of man from the Garden of Eden. The earth was cursed and man would have to work hard to gain a good harvest. The bearing of children was henceforth characterized by pain and labor. The man was no longer at peace with God because sin made people experience all manner of tribulations. According to the Christian narrative, people do not experience the blessings of the universe and all creatures as is depicted in Genesis chapter one and two. George’s suffering is, therefore, a result of sinfulness as he inherited Adam and Eve’s si……
