As medical professional, Jeff Gremmel starts an examination on a young patient as a part of his second-year medical schooling. His patient was a young boy with strange makings all over his body. Gremmel was very focused on trying to figure out was the cause of this so-called disease. He was so fixated on his previous lectures that he insisted it was something internal, but he could not think of any disease that had markings with a “U” shape to it. He soon comes to realization, through the help of an attending physician, that the young patient is being abused. Gremmel is speechless when he finds out.
