You will be asked to submit a learning portfolio on your learning experience in this course. This is the equivalent of your exam for the class. Much of this work will be completed throughout the semester and you will simply be reflecting on your learning in this course. It is important that you complete all aspects of this assignment to receive credit. You will be assessed on:

· creativity in putting together your materials,

· the level of thoughtfulness and engagement in your answers,

· the EVIDENCE you provide to demonstrate your learning

Part 1- Course Reflection

A- Answer the reflective questions in paragraph form about your learning process and provide evidence of that learning by discussing 1. Learning from the live sessions in class (Max 1 Page) 2. Learning from all the assignments submitted (Max 1 page) 3. Learning from relevant extracurricular activities from your workplace (Max 1 page)

Tip 1:  Prior to writing this part you should reflect on the issues and themes that were discussed during the class and those that came up while you were doing the readings and assignments. Now think about what themes, points, or issues did you find interesting?  Jot these down in point form. 

Tip 2: Since it is difficult to write about several issues, for each question select the most important issue or theme (if you wish two) to write about with an example.

Note: In this part, you can:

1. discuss how the topics covered in this course have impacted your understanding of employee relations management within Canadian organizations?

2. What area did you improve most in this class? Provide examples and evidence

3. Which teaching/learning styles helped me to learn the material the most comfortably in this course? Provide examples and evidence

4. How did I learn material when I found the material difficult? How can I address this difficulty more effectively in the future? Provide examples

5. What one assignment in this course was my best work in this course? What did I learn and what makes it my best work? What skills did I learn in this project that I can take away with me into my professional career?

B- At the end of part 1, you must summarize all your learning in a mind map diagram created by you. This mind map must be provided at the end of reflection questions. Use the following mind maps for idea generation to create your own (Check the end of assignment instruction for mind maps).

Part 2 – Future Learning Plan (Max 2 page length)
