Macbeth critical essay with embedded quotes. It should be 1000-1200 words with 1 introduction, 3 main body paragraphs, and 1 conclusion. Each body paragraph should be about one of the characters that have suffered due to Macbeth. 

The prompt is “Macbeth is a tragic figure that functions as an instrument of the suffering of others. Write an essay in which you explain how the suffering brought upon others by Macbeth contributes to the tragic vision of the work as a whole”, in other words the main idea is “how has Macbeth’s ambition led to the suffering of others”. 

The characters you can write about that have suffered due to Macbeth are: 

Duncan the king as he was innocently killed by Macbeth 

Malcolm as his father was killed and he was forced to fled the country 

Banquo as he was also innocently killed by Macbeth 

Fleance as he watched his fathers murder and was left alone with nobody to guide him 

Macduff as his whole family was murdered by Macbeth 

Lady Macbeth as she had to live with the guilt of killing the king and ended up taking her own life 

Scotland itself as its people would take their own lives and scream in the night due to being under the rule of Macbeth 

There should be minimum 2 embedded quotes in each body paragraph, maximum 3. Each quote should show the suffering of others and support the idea that Macbeth’s ambition caused the suffering of others. Embedded quotes need to start with your own words and then the quote. 

The assignment is due on June 21’st so you have until then to write it. I am only looking for an 80%, no higher than this. This is an English grade 11 (20-1) assignment and it can be written on google docs with no spacing in between lines and about 500 words per page, maybe more depending on the page.
