I’m working on a psychology exercise and need guidance to help me study.

Chapter Three has four objectives:

1. Describe what “light” is (include TWO properties) as well as describe what “color” is.
2. Name and describe FIVE parts to an eye.
3. Describe in detail the difference between “Rods” and “Cones” in the retina and the function of each (what they do).
4. Describe in detail the difference between the Dorsal and Ventral Systems (or Streams). What does damage to each system mean behaviorally?

Chapter Five has five objectives:

1. Describe what Selective Attention is and why it is important.
2. Describe and give a real-life example of:
   1. The Cocktail Party Effect
   2. Inattentional Blindness
   3. Change Blindness
3. Describe in detail the difference between the Early and Late Selection Hypotheses.
4. Describe in detail how Expectation-based priming is different from Stimulus-based priming. Provide real-life examples of each.
5. Describe in detail what Divided Attention is and when it works best.
