The Two career paths

Introduction:

                The 2 career paths that I decided to focus on is Medical and Health service manager and Social and Human service assistant. Both careers require a bachelor’s degree which is 4 years of education. When searching to see which careers would match my desires, I first googled jobs that I could have with a Health Services Administration degree. Once a list popped up, I read each one to see which was more interesting.

Statement of focus:

(Medical and Health Service Manager)

                Salary Trend- $48.55 per hour or $100,980 Annually

                Potential For Growth- This is expected to grow about 20% over the next 10 years

                Educational requirements- Bachelor’s Degree

                Lifelong learning Opportunities-

                Job Duties- A health services manager plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the delivery of health care in an entire facility or a single department

(Social and Human Service Assistant)

                Salary Trend- $16.36 per hour or $34,040 annually

                Potential for growth- It is projected to grow 17% over the next 10 years

                Educational requirements- High School Diploma

                Lifelong learning opportunities-

                Job Duties- Help determine what type of aid their clients need, Work with clients and other professionals, such as social workers, to develop a treatment plan; Help clients find assistance with daily activities, such as eating and bathing, Research services, such as food stamps and Medicaid, that are available to clients; Coordinate services provided to clients, Help clients complete paperwork to apply for assistance programs, Check in with clients to ensure that services are provided appropriately
