Cognitive bias entails thinking of doing something because other people are also likely to do it. Of all the cognitive biases we have discussed in this section, one that I think I might be most subject to is the cognitive bias 6 which is the curiosity tendency. This tendency dictates that people always wish to explain how things work, how they are like as well as how we like them. I am always a curious person and I always wish to know what is happening around me and if possible, why it is happening so. Although cognitive bias is important in developing my knowledge, there are ways that I can use to compensate for the bias factor. One way is to engage in an activity that is opposite to what the curious mind is directing me to. For instance, if the mind tells me to question the different aspects of God, I seek guidance from a spiritual guide.
