The purpose of this assignment is to receive feedback and suggestions from your instructor on the rough draft of your term paper prior to finding and incorporating evidence from sources into the final version of the paper due at the end of the course. The feedback and suggestions from your instructor, along with the reader response feedback from your peers will help inform the second draft of your paper, which is due in Week 6.

The rough draft should follow these guidelines:

Write a paper addressing a question that can best be answered by a combination of your own learning from experience and evidence from sources. You will identify the question that the paper will answer, the purpose of the paper, and the paper’s intended audience. You will also choose the genre of the paper to align with its purpose and audience. Possible genre choices include personal essay, white paper, proposal, blog post, and magazine article, among others. The paper will follow the ENGL-110 Term Paper Style Sheet. Please note that evidence from sources will not be included in your rough draft, just what is coming from your own knowledge and experience.

Submit the rough draft of your ENGL-110 Term Paper to the instructor for grading and feedback by Sunday at 11:59 pm. The ENGL-110 Term Paper Rough Draft Rubric will be used to grade this assignment.
