Urbanization continues to be realized in most parts of the world as urban areas continue to grapple with high population growth as people seek to look for employment in places perceived to have higher opportunities. With this reality, human consumption has also increased immensely leading to generation of a lot of waste. Management of solid waste has therefore become part and parcel of an urban environment and planning of the infrastructural development. The main idea is to ensure that the environment is safe for people to work in and engage in economic development. There have however been problems of waste disposal in most countries which detrimentally affects their economic development. The greatest threat for this business is the extensive investment needed to have the business up and running. Getting enough resources to facilitate logistical processes such as streamlining business operations and procedures and at the same time optimize on profits may take time to be fully realized. Before profits can be realized, there will be need to have large capital investments. Just like in any startup company, hiring tracks to be used in transporting the e-waste as well as undertake sensitization initiatives may be expensive for the start. There are also many companies with an almost similar business initiative yet they already have presence in the minds of clients.
